Kate Winslet gets Playboy offer
Playboy is officially on hospice these days. However, that doesn’t stop Hef from making statements like this:
Hefner told a newspaper: “There’s no question we would be interested in Kate. It’s a competitive market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages,” reports The Sun.
Considering that Kate Winslet JUST said that she was done with nudity last week, this seems a quite silly and awfully poor timing. No wonder the once proud Playboy brand is worth poop.
Kate Winslet says no more nude scenes
Until today there were three certainties in life:
1) Death
2) Taxes
3) Kate Winslet getting naked in every film.
As improbable as it seems, say good-bye to #3:
“I think I won’t do it again: A. I can’t keep getting away with it, and B. I don’t want to become ‘that actress who always gets her kit off,’” Winslet, 33, told Time magazine for its new issue, on sale Friday.

A) Sure, you are 33 and age catches up to everyone.
B) Too late! You are already are that actress who always drops her linen. That’s a good thing.
Kate Winslet Rookie Speaker
As strange as it sounds, top actress and Skoopd favorite Kate Winslet has a hard making acceptance speeches:
Backstage she joked with reporters: “I don’t have to make another speech do I? I am so bad at this..Clearly I am still learning.” She said that winning comes as a shock and “just takes her breath away.”

I think she’ll get the hang of it. Kate’s just entering her acting prime now, so I think this award winning stuff is going to become second nature for her. OK, and we like fawning over her amazing natural breasts almost as much as Oprah did. Almost.
Kate Winslet Gets My Vote
I haven’t seen “The Reader.” I will not see “The Reader.” However, if Kate Winslet somehow keeps up the “I’m defying all physical laws of nature and keep getting prettier with age” routine, by the time the 33-year-old British beauty hits 40 she could be a candidate for the Diane Lane All-Stars.

2009 Oscar Nominations are out. Most of the silly films I don’t care about, so we’ll just take the shallow bits and pieces:
Anne Hathaway - Best Actress - “Rachel Getting Married”
Angelina Jolie - Best Actress - “Changeling”
Kate Winslet - Best Actress - “The Reader”
Amy Adams - Best Supporting Actress - “Doubt”
Penelope Cruz - Best Supporting Actress - “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”
Marisa Tomei - Best Supporting Actress - “The Wrestler”
Also, Robert Downey Jr better win for “Tropic Thunder” and they could have easily nominated Tom Cruise for his unbelievably great “Les Grossman” in that same movie.
